Project Background
The Academic Affairs office at University of Phoenix asked if I could develop some training to help deter students from plagiarizing (which was pretty rampant at the time). So I developed an eLearning module on Understanding Academic Integrity, where the user has to make choices for the main character. We used our own staff members to appear as characters in this lesson, and we even had them do the voice talent (we found that drawing from our local talent pool was cheaper and quicker than resorting to stock images and paying for professional voice actors). I also added an innovation that wasn’t available at the time: closed captioning. I wanted to make sure our eLearning was accessible to all users.
